Conflict minerals

On January 1, 2021, new legislation, the Conflict Minerals Regulation, will come into force across the European Union.

The objective is to curb the trade in four conflict minerals: tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold, where forced labor is used to finance armed groups and other human rights violations, as well as to contribute to corruption and money laundering.

The Regulation requires EU companies in the supply chain to ensure that their imports of these minerals and metals come only from non-conflict sources.

Gocar Electronic promotes traceability of these minerals and transparency of the supply chain. We strongly believe that our customers should be fully informed about the products they buy.

Global policy against human trafficking, modern slavery and child labor

As part of the Code of Conduct and Core Values on which Gocar Electronic is based, we have an obligation to uphold basic human rights in all our operations, including zero tolerance for the use of forced labor and human trafficking. We are committed to complying with all applicable laws in the countries in which we do business.

We do not use or tolerate the use of forced labor or human trafficking practices by others, including the exploitation of children. Illegal child labor violates the integrity of our business, and is not tolerated by Gocar Electronic. We will never knowingly do business with customers, suppliers and other business partners that violate these policies.
